Luna Stage
Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story, 2015

Casting Calls

Are you an actor interested in the development of new plays? Want a chance to work on your cold reading skills? Would you like to get to know NJ-based playwrights, actors, and directors? Luna Stage is looking to meet local actors to participate in our new play development forums for early career playwrights and upcoming Lab at Luna productions. Please note that this is NOT an audition for our mainstage.

We will be holding auditions on Saturday, January 20th from 2-5pm. There is no need to prepare anything. You'll do some cold reading in the room, and then a short interview. Union affiliation not required.

In general, we are always seeking actors of color and men of all ages. For upcoming Lab at Luna productions, we are seeking:

  • a white woman in her early 30s. Just lost her home.
  • an African-American woman in her 30s. CEO type.
  • a white man, 30-50. Proud, charismatic CEO, excellent comic timing, must be comfortable with vulgarity and partial nudity.
  • a man of any ethnicity, 30-50, lawyer, harshly realistic but not unkind.

Please send your headshot and resume to Kaitlin.Stilwell@lunastage.org, and we will respond to you with an appointment time. We look forward to meeting you!
