Pay-What-You-Wish
Session 1: January 11 - March 21
This interactive workshop is limited to 8 participants, and will include individualized writing prompts, opportunities to hear your work aloud, guided feedback, and support in polishing one (or more!) short plays. It is open to experienced playwrights who want to jumpstart a new piece, and to theatre fans who have always dreamt of writing a play.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, adults will develop skills in Musical Theatre performance including vocal technique and character-based song interpretation. Students will be introduced to a a diversity of rehearsal tools and techniques to develop a dynamic and authentic performance of Broadway and/or Pop Rock repertoire. A final performance will showcase everyone’s work.

A course in the fundamentals of acting, we will explore material from the ground up, beginning with text analysis, and following the characters' journeys all the way to performance. We'll be working with practical acting techniques that give you all the tools you need to tell the story of the scene. Applicable to theatre and on-camera acting, this class will teach skills that are accessible to the beginner, but equally useful for experienced actors.
