American Girl Playwriting Grades 3-6
Do you love dreaming up stories about the American Girl characters?! In this one week summer camp, students will become playwrights and actors, and write a short play starring their favorite historical or Girl of the Year American Girl Doll! In every class, students will learn about the playwriting process, play some fun acting games, and be guided through the writing and creating process with imaginative exercises! On the last day of camp, students will take on roles in their classmates' plays, and present "staged readings" of all the plays written over the week! This camp is for anyone who loves history, using their imagination, and the American Girls!
