COVID-19 Safety Procedures

Luna Stage is committed to the safe resumption of in-person live performance during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to that end we have taken the following measures:

What We’ve Done:

  • Added new, state-of-the-art air cleaning systems with MERV 18 air filters in our facilities, offices, and venues.

  • Added hand sanitizing stations throughout the audience and backstage areas.

  • Incorporated new working measures during rehearsals to ensure social distancing between performers and staff.

  • Reduced seating to ensure social distancing within the theater.

What We’re Doing:

  • Daily health screenings for performers and staff.

  • Masks worn by all staff members while in the building, and masks worn by performers when not on stage.

  • A fully COVID-19 vaccinated staff and cast for all productions.

  • Sanitizing of our public and backstage spaces in accordance with CDC recommendations.

  • Providing digital programs in lieu of printer paper programs.

What We Ask of You:

  • Patrons are required to wear a mask while attending all Luna Stage productions, both indoors and outdoors. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you at no charge. Masks must cover the nose and mouth and fit snugly around the face without gaps.

    • Those exempted from wearing a mask include:

      • A person with a disability who cannot wear a mask, or cannot safely wear a mask, for reasons related to the disability. Those who cannot wear a mask due to a disability will be asked to wait until all other patrons are seated and will then be seated in a socially distanced section.

  • Provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.

  • Patrons under 12 years of age may provide a negative COVID-19 test (taken within three days of the performance) when arriving at the theater.

  • Observe social distancing of at least three feet between audience members who are not in your party.

  • Socially distanced seating will be observed, with seats organized into groups of two chairs. Please be aware that seating arrangements may need to be reorganized in order to account for social distancing.

  • If you feel ill within 24 hours of the performance, we will exchange your tickets for another performance. Contact our box office to make arrangements.

  • Patrons are asked to please exit the building following the performance. Talkbacks and meet and greets with cast and crew will be suspended for all Fall programming.

The requirements shall be subject to federal and state laws. All COVID-19 rules and procedures shall be subject to change as new developments in health and safety continue to evolve.

Luna Stage received a $20,000 grant for COVID-19 mitigation, and has
invested in equipment to improve cleaning, provide greater access to hand sanitizer, and
increase air circulation and filtration within the building.
