The self-told story of Ruby Lenox, begun before her mid-century birth, and racing toward her millennial present. A wild steeplechase through the sometimes tragic, often funny and endlessly surprising funhouse of the 20th century, this play is also the multilayered story of a family tree, with its many generations, conflicts, secrets and traditions.
Setting: Backstage in an unfinished performance space, in the industrial North.
Time and Place: Various decades of the twentieth century, and before, in and around York, England.
Starring: Brendan Byrnes, Robert Carr, Rebecca Ellis, Deb Hiett, Megan Muckelmann, Paul Murphy, K.E. Scelsa, and Linda Setzer.
