2011-2012 Season

Luna Stage Production History. Celebrating 26 Seasons!

April 19 - May 20, 2012

By Michael Frayn

Directed by James Glossman

In wartime 1941, German atomic physicist Werner Heisenberg travels to Nazi-occupied Copenhagen to see his old friend and mentor, renowned Danish physicist Niels Bohr. Side by side, almost as father and son, they had revolutionized nuclear science in the 1920s, but have since been pulled apart as they find themselves on opposite sides of a World War. Winner of three Tony Awards, including Best Play, Copenhagen explores the powerful yet uncertain bonds of country, conscience, and love in a world whose very core is at risk of being torn apart.

Starring: Ian Gould, Paul Murphy, and Linda Setzer.

Design Team: Alex Glossman (Assistant Director), Carrie Mossman (Set Design), Richard Currie (Lighting Design), Jeff Knapp (Sound Design), Deborah Caney (Costume Design), Liz Cesario (Production Manager), and Mary Ellen Allison (Stage Manager).
