Superhero Playwriting Grades 3-6

Have you always wanted to create your own superhero?! Now’s your chance! In this one week summer camp, students will create their very own superhero character, and write an original play starring their character! In every class, students will learn about the playwriting process, play some fun acting games, and be guided through the writing and creating process with imaginative exercises! On the last day of camp, students will take on roles in their classmates' plays, and present "staged readings" of all the plays written over the week! This is the camp for anyone who loves using their super powers, fighting the villains, and saving the day!
